Stability – Strength – Success, the ONE Global Way

FME and ONE Global Design recounted our continued momentum and collaborations at the semi-annual Executive Summit in late October.

Andy Wilson and Eric Ibsen, along with 30+ principals and senior level executives converged on Seattle, where member firm, JPC Architects of Bellevue, hosted the 2-day event.

ONE Global Design welcomed their newest member, Progressive AE (PAE) headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Norm Liedtke, Co-Founder of ONE Global Design and CEO of Meyer Design of Philadelphia remarked, “PAE is a strategic addition to the ONE family, providing a broadened portfolio of knowledge and project expertise that we constantly seek to enhance the client experience.”

The meeting sessions kicked off with a spectacular roof-top launch event for the new Intrinsic and Infused products hosted by Mannington Commercial. The Intrinsic and Infused lines of carpet and LVT respectively, resulted from a unique and highly successful collaboration with (9) nine of the ONE firms and the Mannington design team.

The products were previewed at NeoCon in June and have received numerous accolades, including Best of NeoCon, an Interior Design HiP Award, and a Metropolis Like.

Building on the meeting’s theme of ‘Stability – Strength – Success’, Roy Huebner, Executive Director of the organization, led the leadership through an agenda of market updates, significant project collaborations, and discussion of best practices. Guest speakers addressing the group included Bill Hinsley from the PSMJ Resources organization and local sustainability design advocate, Tom Paladino. In depth panel discussions were centered around Technology, Human Resources, and Marketing/Business Development; all which ensure “ONE is greater than the sum of its parts,” quipped Huebner.

The meeting culminated with an inspirational dinner at the Chihuly Glass and Garden located at the base of the architecturally iconic Space Needle.
